N&C’s view, RM’s problems
In what is commonly referred to as the uberization of society, we have been confronted with some very interesting problems in the area of private rental, helping car rental, or apartment rental platforms. The peculiarity of this sector concerns above all the nature of the stock: singular properties that must be aggregated to make clusters, availability schedules at the whim of the owners, and forecasts that are difficult to make. The other particularity is the retention of the stock with incentive mechanisms for owners to let their property.
The missions carried out
In this uncertain inventory environment, we were able to work for several players to help them redefine good practices:
- Defining the right pricing drivers
- Adjusting the business model to combine the interests of the owner and the tenant, as their
destinies are linked.
- Creation of dashboards
- Definition of pricing algorithms
- Seasonalization of prices
- The proposition of more virtuous remuneration models
Intellectually challenging assignments with small inventories (as we have also encountered in Technical Control for example).

RM is expanding rapidly with great thinking at the crossroads between landlords and tenants. Low inventories, lack of groups, and low BtoB presence mitigate the potential. But there are great RM and pricing opportunities to be developed.
